Celine Fall 2011 – Classic American Driver

Celine’s Fall 2011 collection was reminescent of the American classic driver from the 60’s. The clean long lines and the neutral colours were in line with Celine’s classic looks that go hand in hand with the brand. We love the coat that has the strap under the chest to keep that open coat look we love without it actually flying off in the wind!

Zac Posen – Fall 2011 Simplicity At It’s Finest

Zac Posen, having shown his collection for the second time in Paris, has debuted a more simple collection for the upcoming Fall 2011 season. Having stripped his more extravagant clothes of their fathers and trims, this collection is a throw back to his more structure silhouettes. The ghost like bodices give a structured look without the uncomfort level, we love!

Loewe Fall 2011

The Spanish brand Loewe opened up their show in Paris for their Fall 2011 collection with a delicate office “look” all in leather. The typical classic label added some edge to this collection with fur trim and sheep’s skin. The handbags and coats are to die for! Check out our favs from the collection below.

Balmain Fall 2011 – Ward Is In Town

Balmain’s Fall 2011 collection was notably inspired by their new stylist Melanie Ward (noted for her involvement with Helmut Lang). Balmain took a step away from their typical mini sillhouettes and tight fitting clothes and into the direction of looser sillhouettes. We love the use of the material for mini dresses, loose pants and blazers. Check it out below.

Balenciaga’s Exotic Blossoms

Balenciaga is known for their motor cycle coats, and leather handbags, and not typically known for a softer silk touch with exotic blossoms and reptiles. The Fall 2011 show was a step from their signature collections, and we must say they nailed it! We love the eclectic mix of old and new and the details on the leather coats that soften up the hard motorcycle look. Check out our favs below.

Giorgio Armani Boudoir

The genius himself named the Fall 2011 collection “Boudoir” and the notion rang true throughout the entire collection. Slinky silk pants with rose tones set against dark velvety fabrics and beautiful “Armani embroidery” set the stage for a luxurious bedroom. Mr. Armani could not have crafted a more desirable collection, especially for blazers and coats. Check out our favourites below.

DSquared Goes Wild Wild West

Dean and Dan Caten have taken over Italy  Wild West styles. Their Fall 2011 collection was inspired by the American cowboys, and we must say we are very impressed with the outcome. The use of jean material, leather and belts to create a modern day western cowboy has left us wanting more. We especially love the ice skating inspired boots with laceup fronts and blades for heels!
