Tofu Shirataki Noodle – A Healthy Pasta Alternative

We all love pasta, almost as though there is a little Italian inside of each and every one of us. It’s filling, tasty, and oh soo fattening! Well we discovered this healthy alternative to pasta. It’s a Tofu Shirataki Noodle instead of a wheat based pasta noodle that you would typically expect.

The texture is a little chewy, but once you move past that you realize that it’s actually pretty tasty. With only 3g of carbs per serving, a high level of dietary fiber, 20 calories per 4 oz. service, gluten free, no sugar,  you will be begging for your favourite Italian resto to carry Shirataki Noodles.

Add some soya sauce, garlic, and your favourite stir fry vegetables for a quick healthy meal.
